Florida Title I, Homestead & Florida City, & Monroe County Teachers

Weekend Workshop

September 24 - 25, 2022

We are hosting a FREE workshop for teachers from Florida Title I, Homestead & Florida City, & Monroe County schools on September 24 - 25, 2022! We have three goals with the workshop:

  1. Teach about our marine environment so teachers can pass on that knowledge to their students

  2. Introduce teachers to our MarineLab programs and how they can be customized

  3. Inform teachers about the availability of scholarship funds through our Art Mitchell Memorial Fund, thanks to a gift from the Annette Urso Rickel Foundation, or through our Monroe Match if you’re a Monroe County Teacher

We have three options to choose from, although you can always change your mind during the weekend! MarineLab is all about flexibility! The workshop is FREE but we are asking for a deposit to make sure you'll attend the workshop. If you can't make it we want to offer your spot to another teacher, so please let us know right away! After you've attended, we'll refund the fee to your credit card. If you don't let us know, and you don't show, we'll keep your refund to cover the costs of preparing for you.

See the itinerary. Feel free to ask any questions via email or call us at 305.451.1139.
