Grade Level: 9-12

During this lesson, students will learn the importance of data analysis through the study of seagrass ecosystems in the Florida Keys. Data collection is the first step in gaining a better understanding of the scientific world around us. Once the data is collected, analysis is necessary to make sense of the findings. After this lesson, students will have a better understanding of why data analysis is important, and how to go about the initial steps of analysis when comparing datasets.
