Grade Level: 4-6

During this lesson, students will observe short videos of various marine invertebrates that belong to one of three different phyla.  Initially, students will group the invertebrates together dependent on observations.  After learning the common characteristics of the 3 represented phyla, students will regroup.  Were initial classifications based on observations correct??  Students should have been introduced to the Linneus classification system prior to this lesson.

The product includes all the videos, a powerpoint with phyla info, and an answer key.
